Freitag, 22. Juni: LIVE MOB (AT) / Bas Verbeek (NL)
MOB (AT)
Gerard Depardieus Synchronstimme meets Funny van Dannen meets Single-Malt-Whisky.

Bas Verbeek / The Day The Black Man Died (NL)
In the everlasting search of true freedom of expression and meaning of true freedom and art, Bas Verbeek (Kwadendamme, NL, 1983) focusses his ears and eyes on the sounds and emotions beyond the usual borders. In his work as a musicjournalist he tries to communicate the heart of the sound. The more bands he reviewed, the more he saw that it is not about perfect technical skills or the perfect song. It is about the soul.
With a love for dark sounds, Verbeek as an artist is always seeking sounds that are intense. Something with a twist that touches the soul. On the first release of his guitarproject The Day The Black Man died we hear minimal guitarsoundscapes. Echoing emptyness filled with a great emotional depth.
