Josh Fur – A solo music cabaret performance
The new solo song cycle brings in various aspects of the versatile Josh Fur. He croons his own takes on the intricacies of life and love accompanied by eclectic, accomplished keyboard playing.
The box just doesn’t fit. Josh Fur’s blend of jazz, pop, funk, and blues with a dash of Wienerlied, cabaret, and cover versions speaks to audiences in a way that is as light hearted as it is profound and sometimes both. Does he really forget the words or is that part of the show? Is that sexy man talking to me? He dances, engages in conversation and song while letting you in on the details of his queer (no quotes) existence.
Josh is going to make love to you and abuse you but it’s the songs you’ll take home when he leaves.
